Colombia name World Cup 2014 squad
Monaco striker Radamel Falcao has been named in the provisional 30 man Colombia World Cup squad. The 28 year old picked up an injury to his anterior cruciate ligament back in January and hasn’t played a competitive game since then. However, the Colombian talisman, who has a fantastic international scoring record, has been called up to Jose Pekerman’s squad, which will be trimmed down to 23 on June 2nd. The only player in the Colombia World CUp squad to have played in the Barclays Premier League over the season, is Pablo Armero, who spent some of the season on loan at West Ham
Colombia open their World Cup 2014 account against Greece on June 14th, before moving ahead to play the Ivory Coast and then Japan. Colombia are 5/6 favourites to Win Group C in World Cup 2014 betting and are 25/1 shots to win the World Cup outright.
