England faces Scotland in World Cup 2018 qualifiers
There are some mouth-watering ties on the cards for World Cup 2018 qualification. There will be clashes between England and Scotland to come in Group F which also includes Slovakia, Slovenia, Lithuania and Malta. The two of the home nations met twice during the 2013/14 season with England running out 3-1 and 3-2 winners in the international friendly matches.
The last time that England met Scotland competitively was in a play-off to reach Euro 2000, the Three Lions winning 2-1 on aggregate. England is top seeds in Group F and are currently trading at 20/1 with online betting site Bet365 to win the 2018 World Cup. Germany is 5/1 favourites to win World Cup 2009, followed by Spain and Brazil at 7/1 and Argentina at 8/1.
Group D of World Cup 2018 qualification will see Wales go head to head against the Republic of Ireland. They last met competitively in Euro 2008 qualification, when Ireland came out on top in with a win and a draw. Wales though go as top seen in qualification Group D which also contains Austria, Serbia, Moldova and Georgia.
Northern Ireland has a tough qualification campaign set out ahead of them as they go against Germany, Czech Republic, Norway, Azerbaijan and San Marino in Group C.
