England at least are guaranteed three games at Brazil 2014, beyond that, it is anyone’s guess. The action for the Three Lions all starts on Saturday, June 14th when England v Italy betting will follow on from the Group D opener of Uruguay v Costa Rica. This is the first of at least those three England kick off times at World Cup 2014.

Fortunately for England fans, this game was moved from a 2am BST kick off on Sunday morning to 11pm on Saturday, June 14th. So plenty of time to have a few beers and get ready for the big kick off for Roy Hodgson’s men.

England of course were handed a tough draw in having to take on Uruguay, Italy and Costa Rica. Each of their opponents will present very different challenges for England on their quest for World Cup glory. That opener against Italy sees England kick off as 2/1 underdogs against the 6/4 favouritism of Italy. The two most recently met competitively at Euro 2012 when England managed to hold out for a 0-0 draw after doing nothing whatsoever in the match despite being outclassed. Italy deservedly went on to win throughout the semi’s via a penalty shoot out.

But England have moved on considerably since then, and Roy Hodgson has taken a good leaning towards youth and enterprise. So England could have a pretty well balanced side, a good blend of youth and experience, to put out in Manaus for the Italy game. Italy are going to be a tough side for England to break down, especially in such a humid location, although the game will miss the outright brutal heat of the middle of the day. You would have to think that Italy’s better ball retention will be a big factor in this games. So England will need to show some patience of their own.

England v Uruguay betting is the next game to watch out for in England kick off times at World Cup 2014. This one, which will see the England defence try and keep out Liverpool’s Luis Suarez, and Uruguay of course will be hoping that Edinson Cavani gets himself back into form as well for Brazil 2014. England v Uruguay kick off is at 8pm BST and just as they are for their opener against Italy, England are trading at 2/1 to win the game and are underdogs against the favouritism of Uruguay at 6/4. While Uruguay have a great attack, defensively they look very poor and England could actually have a chance.

Then the Three Lions round out their group campaign against Costa Rica. England v Costa Rica betting has the kick off time of 5pm BST on Thursday, June 24th. Will England have their own qualification hopes in their hands by this stage? This is the easiest game that they will play and it would be a great way to round out the group with three points while Uruguay and Italy scrap it out at the same time. Costa Rica don’t look to be too much of a threat at all in the group and are justifyingly the group outsiders, so a big chance for England here.

If England make it through to the round of sixteen as winners, they will kick off at 9pm on Sunday, June 29th against the runners up of Group C. If the Three Lions make it to the knockout stage as runners up from Group D, then they will play the winner of Group C which contains Colombia, Japan, Ivory Coast and Greece on June 28th. All of the knockout matches will be played at either 5pm or 9pm BST on a given day, with the World Cup final itself kicking off at 8pm on Sunday, July 13th.

Will England kick off times at World Cup 2014 include that game?
