Scotland v Serbia Betting Preview
The Scots have seen their World Cup dreams fade away and will be low on confidence after letting a lead slip against Wales on Friday night. Scotland have gotten control of the game, despite Wales being on top early on, but then with some poor defensive decisions, simply threw the game away. The fragile Scots, bottom of Group A, now have to move on to a tricky visit to Serbia to at least try and restore some pride.

Scotland v Serbia Recommended Bet:
Can Scotland pick up the pieces of their broken World Cup qualification campaign. They are not going to make it to Brazil 2014, as they have picked up just two points from their first five matches, and were dealt another blow on Friday night with the loss to Wales. Gordon Strachan really has to try and rally the troops somehow for a tough trip to Serbia, and they need to post some wins to try and keep a hold of their co-efficient ranking, to try and keep them in the same seeding pot for future World Cup qualification draws. But they aren’t looking a confident side and some missing personnel will continue to make life difficult for them. They lost striker Steven Fletcher to an ankle injury against Wales, and with the big influence of Scott Brown and Darren Fletcher missing from the middle of the park, that is perhaps where they have struggled most. Robert Snodgrass also misses the game after his red card.

Serbia haven’t been as strong through qualification as many people would have through. They have only picked up four points from their opening five matches, and all six of their goals scored so far, came in one match, a 6-1 defeat of Wales. That was one of their two home matches so far, the other ending in a 3-0 loss against Belgium. So they are struggling badly for goals as well, but will be expected to find a way past the deflated Scots.

It could be something of a low key affair and therefore it may be worth backing a Serbia 1-0 Correct Score bet for some value at a price of 9/2 with online bookmaker Bet365.

Online bookmaker Promotion
As always, for you football betting options, it could be worth taking some 0-0 Bore Draw coverage at online bookmaker Bet365. That may be the best that the Scots could get out of this trip, as they are likely to be on the back foot. If the game ends without a goal then the online bookmaker will refund all losing stakes on the Correct Score, half Time/Full Time and Scorecast bets placed on the match. This is great coverage which applies to all matches listed at the popular bookie. New customers registering an account can get up to a free £200 bet when registering a new account, as the bookie will match the value of your initial deposit with a free bet.
