Getting Around
Be warned that Hamburg is a very busy city at the best of times. It is wiser to park one's cars and use public transportation which is both fast and efficient. Most public transportation services, the U-Bahn (subway), S-Bahn (city rail), A-Bahn (commuter rail), numerous bus routes, and harbour ferries, are operated by Hamburger Verkehrsverbund (HVV), Steinstrasse 12. Tickets are sold at Automats and railway ticket counters.
